Sturgeon only ever caught one of these which are fairly rare in this country mine tipped the scales at 12lb-2oz  12lb-2oz |

A friend of mine use to keep them in his pond he got them to grow to just under a pound and they died.
Crow Green Fishery in Essex has them stocked but i'm not sure of the size.

I have managed 2, biggest being 8lb.
They are weird to touch aint they, very rough.
I caught mine on luncheon meat at "maggits lake" near Basildon.
They have quite a head of sturgeon going to 17lb+, but the fishery owner dont like to broadcast it too much.
