I was setting my hopes on beating my pb Pike this coming season on chilham mill, but the recent low oxygen levels on the water meant we lost a few fish and sadly we lost a 35lb-0oz Pike, which is the one I wanted to target for this season.

Ti's a shame when that happens You should come up to the lakes that i fish and have a go at that 40lb pike thats in there, it'll knock your socks off Came out the year before at 41lb plus there a few going on 30-35 as well

I think its a shame when any fish dies, but one that size is a sad day for fishing. Earlier this year there was a fish kill at Broadlands in Hampshire but that only affected the carp and they have some nice Pike in there. I never did find out what killed the carp of although i did ask around.
