Ok today i was sorting though some old rods and found a Browing Espace Carp Rod 12 1/2 ft 3lb tc, now can i use this for some light spodding. I do not usually use a spod rod but if i can use it i will be fishing no more then about 30ish ft and i would use a small spod. So can i use it  |

Yes mate no problem in fact that will put a Gardner pocket rocket over 100 yards with ease.
