Tomorrow being the 1st October and the start of the Pike season and in truth the Perch season too, as now they tend to feed in earnest, who will be the first to bank one.

Not me as i have't been pike fishing for years  I keep on planing to do a session on pike fishing, but when i'm out for pike i wonder what the carp are up to  |

I usually wait until November before I start my campaign which is usually one rod during the day, then if I have had no joy I put out a spinner when I see the fry starting to scatter, bit lucky on my venues as we can use four rods during the winter. So it's three for Carp and one for Pike.
