Help needed, I use fake baits now and then but with the winter well on its way I was thinking of putting some bright yellow corn in a bait soak but will the bait soak discolour the corn or any other fake bait i was intending on using. Has anyone thought of or tried this yet.

I have soaked glowcorn for a week in premier peach Melba and caught carp using the zig rig, ;)but i don't know about using it as a pop up bait or bottom bait Worth a try i should think.

I've used fake corn summer and winter with some success, I'm not sure about using it in combination with dips and bait soaks. I think the attraction is purely visual. Give it a go this winter!!

If you read and beleive the makers blurb it is something in the material that they use to make fake baits that attracts the fish, it allegedly gives off a decent aroma trail. I have had some success with fake corn and the imitation bread.

Fake baits have been very effective for me over the past year in both the winter and summer months.Fake baits are deffinatly worth a go in and situation at any venue.
